Hey y'all!! It just seems that no matter what happens....I'm busy!!! Between doctor appointments for me and the kids, birthdays, shopping for birthdays, getting costumes for birthday parties, Taylor's atheletic schedule changing and trying to catch a mean cat....I'm outta time.

Question. Why does a dead cat never stink UNTIL it gets dark? The mean cat we are trying to catch killed one of my cats...under my house. We didn't smell anything until about 11:30 when we were going to bed. My poor honey after trying, unsuccessfully I might add, to pull it out with a long piece of PVC pipe with a large candy cane duct taped to it, had to crawl under the house. I can only imagine how bad it smelled. My bedroom stunk for 2 days!!!

It has rained so much here that school was canceled today. Soon, folks are gonna need boats to get around. Tootie has been going to school in rubber boots and a rain coat. She looks cute though!!!

Well, gotta go check my trap now. Hopefully it has meanie cat inside!!! Wish me luck!!!

Today I'm thankful for my family. They are the people who make us the craziest, but they also love us the most.

How was my day????

Well, today I am starting to prepare for Taylor's 14th birthday gathering. I figure there will be about 21 people here. Six of them will be her friends that we are taking to the movies and then out to eat. I bought some groceries to keep them full over night at the sleep over. These kids sure are expensive!!!! I have to go buy her present tomorrow. I'm most certain that it will be raining as it was today. Ya should have seen me. You moms can understand and feel my pain. I had a buggy full of groceries, a 3 year old in the front, keys in one hand, umbrella (that I had to buy!!!)in the other hand and attempting to steer the goofy buggy to my Tahoe. I was swerving like a drunkard. Cars and trucks racing past us to get that "golden" parking place and splashing water all over the place. Maybe my mamma raised me right 'cuz I always let the people who are getting rained on pass in front of me, 'cuz I'm not the one getting wet. And ya know, that parking spot was NOT closer than the one I had. If they would have cared enough not to splash me and let me cross into the parking lot, they could have waited in their nice dry car and then had my spot!!!!! I guess this is just a continuation from yesterday. YUCK!!!!  Ok...yesterday....my honey sets the clock for me when he leaves for work. I guess he didn't get the button ALL the way over, so it didn't go off. I woke up at 6:55. I usually have Taylor at school by7:00 so she can get extra math help. Well, that plan was shot in the foot. I'm running around like a crazy person, yelling for her to hurry and get ready while I get myself and Tootie ready. We race outta here and go to the do-nut shop for breakfast. It's next door to Tootie's school. I have to go inside 'cuz the drive thru line is crazy. I come out with the goods and drive next door. As I get Tootie out, she tells me that she tee-teed in her pants. I don't have time for this!!!! I ask her why she didn't tell me instead of going in her pants. She told me she couldn't 'cuz I was in the do-nut shop!!!! So, I drop her off wet and hurry to Taylor's school. She was late and had to run "towels" in athletics 'cuz she didn't get there in time to show the coach her weekly progress reports. I finish my morning out and return to pick up Toot. She has to sit on a towel to cover the wet car seat. I get home and begin to dismantle this contraption. Side note ....whoever designed this thing has never has any children and should not be allowed to do so. Anybody that stupid.....well, anyway....I finally get most of it apart and wash it. I also throw in the part I couldn't get the fabric off of. Bad mistake. I now have shredded plastic stuck inside my washer. I had to be at the school by 2:45 to get Taylor and the car seat was still in pieces. Thankfully my parents were able to watch Toot, 'cuz there was NO WAY I was gonna be able to get this thing together in time. I get to the school and I wait and wait and wait...usually Taylor is out fast. I had a teacher call her over the main loud speaker. By now, I'm the only parent left in the parking lot. Taylor comes out in her athletic clothes, holds both arms in the air and says "EVERY Tuesday and Thursday!!!!" I think I even heard a "duh...". I thought yesterday was Wednesday and showed up too early to get her!!!! Then I went back to get her at the correct time. She gets out at 4:30. I am almost there and Taylor calls to find out where I am. I look at the clock and it's 4:05. THEY GOT OUT EARLY!!!!!!!.......and..... I bought myself some new underwear and the crawl!!!!!!!!!!!!

So...today is the cherry on my sundae of pitiful yesterday.

Today I am thankful for my savior, Jesus Christ. Please note that my list of thankfuls are NOT in any order.

Other note....I watch a guy on the Headline News channel named Glen Beck. And this guy is right on!!! He speaks his mind and I'm surprised he is still allowed on the air. He classifies himself as a christian father conservative. He had a guest on that ask "What is Jesus waiting for?". I often wonder that myself.

OMG!!!! It is coming a frog strangler over here!!! It has been rainin' HARD for 2 days and it's not supposed to stop til Thursday. So far I'm not flooded in, but I might be before it's over!!!! I hate hard rain. Ya know, the kind that sounds like it could break glass and that blows sideways making umbrellas useless. It's still in the upper 80's too. Where is my fall???? Who am I kidding. We have no seasons. Just hot and hotter. I am sooooooooo ready to get outta here!!!!! Taylor just called to say that their game has been canceled and she wants me to pick her up early.  Yea.....dream on sister...fat chance. I would have to get out in this mess, go inside the office to get her, while dragging Tootie. She can stay til school lets out!!! Of course, Tootie is good for going out since I bought her a rain coat and matching boots. She looks so cute!!! Me.....I would look like a drowned rat!!! 

We are all excited about Christmas this year. We don't know why, but we are. My honey and I have begun planning our yard decorations. We do it every year and we add stuff each year as we can afford to buy extras. He says that his goal is to be like the movie Christmas Vacation!!!! Yea well....we'll see!!! I'm planning the inside too. I'd like to have a Christmas party this year, but we'll have to see how things work.

Taylor's 14th birthday is Saturday and she wants to take some friends and go to the movies. Sounds easy enough. I still haven't got her present yet. I'm going shopping on Thursday, 'cuz that's payday!!! Hope I can still get what I want and it not be outta stock. Then.....I will Christmas shop. That part will be easy, providing the money holds out!!!!

I will be teaching my mom to use the Xanga sight that I started for her. I meant to do it a lot sooner, but they have been going outta town a lot and we have been busy too. I know, I know, that's no excuse.

I am gonna start something new. With each post, I am gonna add one thing that I am thankful for ( if I can remember!!!) until Thanksgiving. So today, I am thankful for my freedom. I can say, write and read anything I want. I am very thankful to those men and women who have AND STILL DO fight so that morons can use that freedom to be turd heads. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND THOSE WHO FIGHT IN HER NAME.

Why does it always seem that you never have time to do the stuff that YOU want to do? I think I need to petition God to add more hours to the day, so I can get my junk together. Well...on second thought, how about I just ask for the stuff that I don't want to do, to take care of itself. Yeah, I like that better!!! Tonight I would like to do....nothing. Read a little maybe. What am I gonna do??? Go to the 8th grade homecoming game so Taylor can watch her boyfriend play. There's only a 50 percent chance of rain!!! Actually, I can hear the thunder now and it sure is dark outside.

We went to Goob's friends birthday party Saturday. The Dallas Divas will remember my friend Rey from our lunch. She had a surprise party for her husband. He is the asst coach for the boys basketball team, so we drove to Waco. We got home at 1am Sunday morning. Goob had to get up for work at 5am. Tootie slept most of the way home, so she woke up around 7am. I am not a good sleeper, so I averaged about 4 hours sleep. But we had a great time!!! We saw our old pastor. We miss him so much. It was well worth the loss of sleep to both of us.

I'm dieting....again. This time I have made up my mind. I have to do it for my health and just 'cuz I can't stand the way I look and feel. I have no idea how much I weigh. I use the clothing size guide. When I can wear the junk in my closet, I'll be doing good. I know that I will never be 18 again and to be honest....the weight was the best part of 18!!! I just want to be comfortable in clothes and not have to hold my breath to tie my shoes. I think I told y'all before that I have a medical condition that causes me alot of pain. I need to lose enough weight so I can have my "insurance paid for" tummy tuck. Hopefully that will help the pain and...hey...I gotta look better too,right!!!!

Taylor turns 14 on the 21st. I'm sure getting old!!! But I don't care. I am happy that she is growing into a beautiful young lady. She got all A's on her report card, except in math. She is in advanced math and it's hard for her. She decided to go in to school early in the mornings for tutoring. She says that it is helping and her grade should come up. She has also decided that it would be ok for me to send a photo of her to some modeling agencies. She would like to make some money for college. WORKS FOR ME!!!!!!! So, we'll see how that goes.

Now, I have to pick up Tootie from her pre-k school. I miss y'all and I hope I can get my junk in order, so I can be back here more. Love Y'all!!!!!!

   I'm back!!!! We had such a wonderful time!!!! I'm not a real big baseball gal, but I like old stuff. I saw a lot of really old stuff. But my honey.....he was like a kid in a candy store!!!! We both were giggling like kids. It's funny how different you feel when you are away from all the normal stress of life. And the town, or village as they call it, is amazing!!!! It is truly "small town America". It was not commercialized. We ate at local diners and stayed at one of the bed and breakfasts. To eat at a McDonalds or Pizza Hut, or to stay in a hotel or motel, you had to go about 10-20 miles out of town. I will post some of my favorite pictures for y'all to see. The B&B that we stay at was very nice. The people who ran it were wonderful. The lady kissed us and hugged us when we left and told us how much they enjoyed having us. I cried. I did not want to leave. I didn't have any allergy problems there and the weather was sooooooo great. I found a house for sale.......a little outa my price range......and my honey told me we could move there, as soon as I win the lottery!!!!
